This December has been one of the coldest months here in Vancouver. In fact, I think it was the coldest! To keep my hair from drying up and frizzing up, I had to figure out what was the best way to care for my hair.
Depending on the day, I will either go for a quick or more intensive routine. Starting off, I wash my hair with a shampoo called “B5” by OGX Hair. The shampoo helps retain any moisture while adding strength to the hair by using vitamin B5. After the shampoo, I use a conditioner called “Sugar Daddy-O” by LUSH Cosmetics. With fair trade shea butter and argan oil, Sugar Daddy-O helps soften the hair and helps hair remain bright.
When completing my more intensive hair care routine, I put coconut oil on the ends of my hair before washing, so it adds more moisture to my dry hair. To complete the routine, I will dry my hair with a hair dryer and massage a tiny bit of LUSH Cosmetics’ hair moisturizer “R&B” into the ends of my hair.
After my hair is dry and feeling fab, I know it is time to leave the house! Let me know in the comments down below about what your winter hair care routine looks like and don’t forget to follow me on social media.
