Christmas Sugar Cookies

Is it ever the Holiday’s without the sweet treats? When I was younger, my Mom, sister, and I would make a variety of treats while watching animated Christmas movies. These roll out sugar cookies were always my favourites, not only because you can decorate how you want them, but they also bring back so many memories from my childhood.

Roll Out Sugar Cookies

  • 1 Cup Margarine
  • 1 Cup Sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 2 tsp Baking Powder
  • 3 Cup Flour

Preheat the oven to 400F degrees Cream the margarine and sugar together, when mixed together add the egg and vanilla. Once fully mixed, add the baking powder and flour, one cup at a time. Try to roll up everything into a ball. If you find the mix is a little on the dry side, add a tsp of water. Roll out the ball onto a floured surface. Go forth and use which ever shape you would like!  Place in oven for six to eight minutes and then enjoy!

If you happen to make this recipe, I would love to see the finished products! Tag me on Instagram or Twitter and I’ll share my favourites!
